By transcribing the will of James Haworth, died 1684 of Rockcliffe, near Bacup, parish of Rochdale, Marilyn Winton concluded that this could not be the father of Geroge, the immigrant. The wife and children do not agree with the known facts about George's mother, brother and sisters.
James Haworth (the James she believes to be the father of Geroge) was born and died in Lancashire, England, married Isabel ----, buried 25 JUN 1707 Cahpel Hill, as "Isabel Ormerod of Hapton."
