Isaac Hollingsworth

The family moved from Fredrick Co., VA to Bush River Meeting, Newberry, SC and in 1805, to Miami Co., OH.  They died and were buried in West Branch Meeting Grave Yard.  Susanna Hollingsworth and her sister, Charity Cook, daughters of John Wright, were ministers of the Friends Society.  Isaac Hollingsworth was a man of great physical courage, over six feet high and of stalwart form, and of wonderful strength.  Of all the Newberry (SC) immigrants, none was equal to the Hollingsworths in physical strength, and noe excelled them in courage.  Being of peaceful nature and of superior prowess, quarrels were not sought by them.
